Day 1: Nairobi- Dar e Salaam
On this day you will board your flight to Dar es Salaam from JKIA. After arrival, you will be hotel transfer will be waiting for you .Take your time to rest and acquaint yourself with the Hotel. Evening spent at leisure. Overnight in Dar es Salaam
Day 2: City Tour
After breakfast your guide will meet you for a city tour of Dar es Salaam. Over the last century, Dar es Salaam has transformed from a sleepy Zaramo fishing village into a thriving, striving, smoke-belching metropolis of over four million people. Straddling some of the most important sea routes in the world, it is East Africa’s second-busiest port and Tanzania’s commercial and cultural hub. Your tour will lead to the northern end of the harbour is the Kivukoni Front, with a bustling fish market where dhows dock at dawn to offload the night’s catch. There are also excellent craft markets and restaurants and nearby sandy beaches and islands. The city’s architecture is a mix of African, Arab, Indian and German, although the quaint colonial Lutheran Church is now dwarfed by towering high-rises which reflect Dar’s rising prosperity in the golden-hued sunsets shimmering off their glass exteriors. Later return back to your Overnight in Dar es Salaam
Day 3: Bagamoyo and ruins full day tour
After breakfast in the morning, you will board your van for a tour of Bagamoyo. It was once the most important trading port on the East African coast remains a city of history and culture. See the ruins of Coral Mosque at Kaole and the ancient graves from the 13th century. Discover the Old Ferry on the Wami River as your guide tells you about the town’s slave-trade past.Venture into the city of Bagamoyo, which has played various historical roles in the history of the country. Along the way, your guide explains how it used to serve as a slave and ivory port—relics of this past remain. The name of the city, Bagamoyo, comes from the Swahili words “bwaga moyo,” meaning “lay down your heart,” a desperate expression by people who were captured as slaves, knowing that they faced uncertain futures.After a traditional lunch, visit the archeological site of Kaole. Admire its ruins, including the Coral Mosque and the ruins of the Shirazai trade town, dating between the 13th and 17th centuries. Here you also see 30 ancient tombs built with coral rag and columns. Continue to the Wami River where you pause for a photo stop at the Old Ferry. Later return back to your Overnight in Dar es Salaam
Day 4: Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, this day will be spent at leisure. Overnight in Dar es Salaam
Day 5: Dar es Salaam – Nairobi
Depending on the departure of your flight, you will be transferred to the airport for your journey.arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
