Welcome to Dubai. This is the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates. It is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf. Dubai is fascinating due to its optimism and openness towards people from all over the world. It is a place that’s constantly in flux and it’s been exciting to see it grow and mature as a city and as a society. With Emiratis making up only a fraction of the population, Dubai is bustling microcosms peacefully shared by cultures from all corners of the world. This diversity expresses itself in the culinary landscape, fashion, music and performance. Although rooted in Islamic tradition, this is an open society where it’s easy for newcomers and visitors to connect with myriad experiences, be it eating like a Bedouin, dancing on the beach, shopping for local art or riding a camel in the desert.
Are you a shopaholic? You’ll have a nice time spending your Dollars / Dirhams in Dubai. This is a top retail haunt that host two huge shopping festivals every year. Shopping is a leisure activity here, malls much more than mere collections of stores. Dubai offers exquisite malls and retail shops on every direction, meeting everyone taste, budget and age. In the evening, the city comes alive with lotus eaters looking for a good time. The city affords glossy rooftop terraces, fancy cocktail taverns, sheesha lounges, community theatres, hot-stepping odysseys and much more. There is something for everyone here.
DUBAI ITINERARY
Day 1: Nairobi – Dubai
Leave Nairobi for Dubai on your pre-booked flight. On arrival, you will be met at the airport by Abana Safaris representative who will transfer you to your hotel for overnight. Overnight at the Hotel
Day 2: Dubai City Tour
This day you will have breakfast and relaxation at the hotel. At around 10.00am embark on the Dubai City tour. Today is a rest day to experience the glamour and style of the cosmopolitan city of Dubai. We take this time to see around the city and we’ll return to Hotel at about 1.30pm. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Desert Safari
Breakfast at the hotel, free time at leisure. At around 3:30PM you will be picked from the hotel for the desert safari. A desert safari drive is organized in the evening with routes that are noted for their captivating views of the deserts outlying Dubai, especially during sunsets and make for an enjoyable ride. A typical Bedouin campsite is arranged in the desert with Arabian carpets, low tables and cushions for you to lounge about. Here you can enjoy camel rides, henna tattoos and sheesha among other sightseeing & activities at the camp area. A dinner buffet consisting of traditional fare like barbecued meats, herb salads and desserts is set under the night sky. This is followed by a stunning performance by belly dancers as post-dinner entertainment for the safari group. Overnight at the hotel
Day 4: Dhow dinner Cruise
After breakfast, full day will be at leisure, shopping in the famed Dubai Deira area and exploring the cosmopolitan city. In the evening at around 7.00pm you will be picked from your hotel for your Dhow Dinner Cruise. This is the climax of the safari as you tour Dubai through the night enjoying meals and Arabic belly dancers. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Dubai -Nairobi
Ma’a Salaama! Goodbye! Is a sad word to utter this day as you bid Dubai Kwaheri with last minute shopping, packing and freight assistance where necessary. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi.
